This is a favorite dessert worldwide: Homemade Apple pie! A universal sweet having millions and millions of fans all over the globe.
Many of us have so many memories of their moms (and grandmas) baking delicious apple pies and their selves as kids being impatient to taste them
As soon as the cold hits, we’re all happier to stay at home, and maybe even turn on our ovens to make something warm and comforting, and especially sweet! And when the rain hits, and the days are shorter, there’s nothing better than prepare a pie!

From Granny Smith and Gala to Golden and Red Delicious, there are so many varieties to choose from.
Let’s follows Giovannella recipe

3 apples medium size
200 g flour 00
75 g butter room temperature
100 g sugar (+ 1 extra tablespoon )
2 eggs
1 glass of milk
Organic lemon zest
16g baking powder
vanilla (optional)
cinnamon (optional)
powdered sugar

In a bowl whip the butter with the sugar, add the yolks and mix until fluffy. Incorporate alternating sifted flour and milk, mix with a wooden spoon. Then add the lemon zest, vanilla (optional), the baking powder and the whipped eggs white with a pinch of salt.
Grease a 26 cm ring mold, pour the mixture into it.
Peel the apples, slice and lay them in a circle on the surface of the cake and push them softly into the batter cake. Sprinkle with a tablespoon of sugar and a pinch of cinnamon (optional), then put in the oven at 170 ° C for about 45 minutes.
Serve the cake warm or cold, sprinkled with powdered sugar
